The great pumpkin is coming and it’s time to get ready! Fall is here, and while COVID-19 has cancelled most of our summertime fun, fortunately local farmers are open and ready to give us some time outside with our families. Here is the list of 2020 pumpkin patches and corn mazes in Skagit County. Be sure to read for COVID-19 specific changes to your favorite patch!

Gordon Skagit Farms

Since 1969, Gordon Skagit Farms has been growing a beautiful pumpkin patch in Skagit County. Check out the corn maze and haunted barn, then head to the pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkin.  Be sure to take some time checking out their decorations, they really go all out for fall harvest.

Important COVID-19 Changes: Skagit Valley Farm Tours will not be taking place this year. Masks are required.

Jones Creek Farms

Jones Creek Farms is a u-pick pumpkin patch in Sedro-Wolley. They have plenty of varieties of pumpkins and squash for you to choose, along with other seasonal fruits. If you are looking for apples for hard cider or baking, you definitely want to check out their harvest calendar.

Important COVID-19 Changes: They have added an outdoor area that will include checkout locations. Facemasks are mandatory at all times on the property, even if you are alone. They have extra employees working to keep things cleaned and sanitary. Warm water wash stations are available as well as hand sanitizer.

Schuh Farms

If you are looking for pumpkins to carve, paint or bake, check out a local pumpkin patch in Skagit County.

Now – October 31
Monday-Friday: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Schuh Farms is a 300-acre farm with a pumpkin patch in Mount Vernon.  As you can imagine, they have a huge assortment of pumpkins on three patches. After finding the perfect pumpkin, take some time for some family fun with their corn maze, hay ride, tractor and barrel trains, and children’s play area.

Be sure to check out their retail barn full of fall and Halloween décor, fresh seasonal produce, homemade jams and syrups, cheeses and more!

Important COVID-19 Changes: Masks and social distancing are required. Due to mandates, where will be no pumpkin bounce house or face painting this year.

Cascadian Farm

The Cascadian Farm is open daily until October 31 and does have a u-pick pumpkin patch. It’s best to call ahead of time to check availability.
