Love spice? You’ve come the right place! Rachawadee Thai Cafe is an authentic, family-owned locale. Yes, it might look like a hole-in-the-wall, but you will want to give them a shot. They deliver fresh food and plenty of it. This Thai restaurant in Mount Vernon is known for their spice so be careful when ordering. I get a 1 here and it still has kick!  They have all your favorites, from sweet and sour to Pad Thai and tom yum to curries. Be sure to save room for black rice pudding.

No room to sit, but you can order for take out. They cater as well!

Their menu makes it easy for people with dietary restrictions, as they note whether a dish is gluten free or vegan. A special dessert not seen at most Thai restaurants, they offer roti banana, a delicious puff pastry filled with ghee butter, cream cheese, banana, and sweetened condensed milk, topped with chocolate sauce and toast coconut flakes.
