Spring has sprung! It’s time for the Easter Bunny to make his annual appearance and we sure are excited! Get out those baskets and head to some fun local events that are sure to fill them with colorful eggs, sweet treats and even prizes! Get your family photo taken with the Easter Bunny for a lasting memory. Here are the 2022 Easter egg hunts in Skagit County

Anacortes Egg Dash
Storvik Park

6 p.m.

The City of Anacortes is putting on their 2022 Egg Dash at Storvik Park, rain or shine! This mad dash includes over 5,000 colorful eggs filled with candy for kids under the age of 12. Meet under the lights, where the rules for this twilight hunt will be covered. There will be a special section for younger kids. Be sure to bring your basket!

April 16

Ovenell’s Heritage Inn Easter Egg Hunt
46276 Concrete Sauk Valley Road, Concrete
1 p.m.

Ovenell’s Heritage Inn Log Cabins, Guesthouses and Historic Ranch will be having their Easter Egg Hunt on April 16. The entire family will have fun at this hunt, with prizes for all the age groups. Please note, there are no public restrooms available.

Kid’s Egg Hunt

10 a.m.

Burlington-Edison Kiwanis Club and the City of Burlington are putting on a free Easter egg hunt for kids ages 1- to 8-years-old.

Kid’s Easter Egg Hunt

River Front Park

 901 River Road, Sedro-Woolley

1 p.m.

Wildcat Steelhead Club and City of Sedro-Woolley are putting on their hunt April 16 at 1 p.m. Bring your own basket or bag for treats. Hunt starts right at 1 p.m., so it’s good to get there a bit early. Hunt is for children 12 or younger.

April 17

Anacortes Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt
Causland Park, 1116 8th Street, Anacortes
1 p.m.

The Anacortes Lions Club is putting on their Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday, April 17. Bring your own basket for some fun hunts throughout the park. Hunts will be divided by age groups: up to 2 years old, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance as well as Leo the Lion!

The Creekside Continuing Care Community egg hunt is again cancelled for this year. They are hoping 2023 will mark the return of their fun Easter egg hunt.
