Daddy Daughter Skate Night

Dads, take your littles Valentine out for a night of fun skating at Skagit Skate! Put on by the Burlington Parks & Recreation, you and your daughter can skate the night away and enter a free raffle! There will be glow sticks, treats, goodie bags and more. Advanced registration is required and ends February 1 at the Burlington Parks & Recreation website.

Nazarene Youth Conference Valentines Dinner Fundraiser

A dinner that supports local youth is a great Valentine’s Day date night! Hosted by Mount Vernon Church of the Nazarene, proceeds for this romantic dinner on February 14 will help local youth attend the Nazarene Youth Conference in Tampa Bay, Florida this July. Skagit Landing’s Valentine’s Day Menu

Skagit Landing is offering a special menu on February 14 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Chef Urbick’s seasonal offerings include savory dishes such as “You Make Me Want to Be a Burrata Man” (burrata with tomato confit and pesto crostini,) “A Steak to the Heart” (salt and pepper-rubbed tenderloin, topped with a garlic butter sauce, smoked cheddar au gratin, shaved brussel sprout with horseradish vinaigrette), and a sweet treat “I Love You Berry Much” (raspberry-filled lemon shortbread heart cookie).

Put on your dancing shoes and take your little lady out for a night of dancing! This year there will be no dinner, but you can take advantage of specials being provided by local restaurants on this night for those headed to the dance!
