The weather is getting better and we are finally heading into June. It’s time to celebrate dads, grads and look forward to summer fun! Plan a weekend with your favorite father, grandfather, uncle or mentor as a way to say thanks for all he has done in your life. Here are some things to do for Father’s Day in Skagit County.
Blast from the Past 2023
For dads that love vintage things and fast cars, can celebrate Father’s Day a couple weeks early with Sedro-Woolley’s Blast from the Past 2023 car show! There will also be vendors, including lots of antiques, a color run, live music and lots of kids activities so the whole family will have fun.
All Corvette Car Show
9th Street & Q Avenue, Anacortes
The Majestic Glass Corvette Club is having their All Corvette Car Show on June 3 and just might be the perfect way to celebrate Father’s Day in Anacortes – a bit early. Everyone will enjoy checking out these muscle cars and it’s part of the free Anacortes Waterfront Festival, so there will be plenty of food, vendors, live music, carnival rides, games and more!
Skagit County Fairgrounds
If you’re dad loves to find a good deal, celebrate Father’s Day early at the Exclusive Bazaar. The Skagit County Fairgrounds will be full of vendors selling everything and anything!
Take Fight Friday
Children’s Museum of Skagit County
432 Fashion Way, Burlington
For dads that love aviation, take the whole family to the Children’s Museum of Skagit County on June 16 for their Take Flight Friday event. Mike Dyberg, a local flight instructor from Dyberg Aviation, will be at the museum to answer questions and more at this fun pop-up event.
Bark in the Park
1110 32nd St, Anacortes
Is your dad a dog dad too? Celebrate together at the Bark in the Park for dog demos, contents and lots of vendors with items for all your four-legged friends.
Berry Dairy Days
What dad wouldn’t love a weekend long festival full of games, vendors, and as much strawberry shortcake as he could eat! Berry Dairy Days in Burlington also has smoke and grill competitions – another dad favorite – and even a cornhole tournament and a parade. It’s got everything you could want to spend a great day or weekend with your whole family.
Skagit Pops! Cloak & Dagger
2501 East College Way, Mount Vernon
Attend a thrilling and entertaining concert for Father’s Day at the McIntyre Hall Performing Arts & Conference Center. The Skagit Symphony is putting on their second annual Father’s Day Pops! Concert, featuring music from “Mission Impossible,” “The Pink Panther,” “Sherlock Holmes,” Pixar’s “The Incredibles,” and all the Bond movies. It’s an evening your dad is going to love!
American Legion Pancake Breakfast
June 18: 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.

701 Murdock Street, Sedro-Woolley
The American Legion in Sedro-Woolley puts on a pancake breakfast for the public every third Sunday, which means it falls on Father’s Day this June! Treat dad to eggs made to order, beacon, sausage links, ham, omelets, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, French toast and of course, pancakes!
