July 4th events in Skagit County are full of food, fun and of course, fireworks! From chainsaw carving contests and live entertainment to gaming and fireworks, there is something for everyone. Check out this list of 2025 July 4th fireworks in Skagit County, along with other events celebrating Independence Day.

Voted Best of the Best by the community in 2024, Loggerodeo in Sedro-Woolley begins June 29 and goes through July 5, with a firework show at 10 p.m. on July 4th. There are so many events, including chainsaw carving contests; a carnival; a footrace; a grand parade; pie eating, beard, mullet and other contests; a street dance and more. Mount Vernon’s July 4th fireworks happen a day early! Head to Big Lake on July 3rd for the Big Lake Fireworks hosted by the Big Lake Fire Fighters Association. The free event can be viewed from your private home, or if you are visiting, the Big Lake Golf Course and the Big Lake Church. Parking is $20. Another July 4th firework show in Mount Vernon is the Fabulous 4th of July event at Edgewater Park. Park opens at 8 p.m. Please note that the restrooms, tennis and pickleball courts will close at 5 p.m. and the boat launch will close at 6 p.m. No food or music will be offered at the 2024 event, so bring your own snacks, blankets, chairs and a flashlight! No canopies, barbecues, alcohol or personal fireworks allowed.

La Conner July 4th fireworks start at 10 p.m.! Before that, head to the La Conner Marina at 5 p.m. for live music, featuring Mama Dirty Skirt (classic rock, Motown and R&B) and North Sound Soul (a 9-piece horn driven veteran’s band from Bellingham). The Anacortes July 4th fireworks show begins with loud music and ends with a bang! Rock the Dock will keep you dancing all evening with live music, including The Machine, South Fork Country Kickers – new for 2025 – and Whiskey River.
