We’ve got the details on some of the happenings around town, so you can decide when, where and how you want to ring in the New Year! Here are the 2026 New Year’s Eve events in Skagit County.

Remember to check out your city’s rules about fireworks for New Year’s Eve! Skagit County does not allow fireworks to be discharged from December 27-30. Fireworks may be discharged December 31 and January 1 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.

December 31, starting at 1 p.m.
Skagit Skate
390 Cedar Street, Burlington

Skate in 2026 at Skagit Skate! A confetti celebration, party hats, horns, lights and a countdown on the big screen are all waiting for you! All ages are welcome! The first party starts at 1 p.m., perfect for those who want their kids in bed early! The Old Edison

The 21-and-over crowd can head to The Old Edison for a night of live music and fun! You will definitely be on your feet dancing the new year in!
