Get your red, white and blue and celebrate America 250! Mount Vernon, Sedro-Woolley, Anacortes and other locations around Skagit County are having big events to celebrate. The toughest choice you will have is deciding which one to attend! Here is the list for the 2026 July 4th fireworks in Skagit County.

Planning on having a fireworks show at home? Be sure to check out the Washington State Patrol’s guidelines and information resources on which Skagit County cities have firework bans and/or restrictions.

As of November 15, 2024, all fireworks are now illegal within the City limits of Mount Vernon. For more information, head to the City of Mount Vernon Firework Information page.

It wouldn’t be the Fourth of July in Skagit County without the Loggerodeo! A celebration of the County’s history as well as America’s, it’s a fun time for all! Enjoy contests, car show, carving events and displays, an auction, a carnival, a rodeo, vendors and more! Tons for kids to do!

And of course, don’t miss the Fireworks at dusk on July 4th!

Weather permitting

Head to Mount Vernon for July 4th fireworks a day early! The Big Lake Fireworks are hosted by the Big Lake Fire Fighters Association. The free event can be viewed from your private home, or if you are visiting, the Big Lake Golf Course and the Big Lake Church. Parking is $20. Edgewater Park
600 Behrens-Millet Road, Mount Vernon

The Mount Vernon fireworks will take place on July 4, 2026, at Edgewater Park. Note that tennis and pickleball courts will close at 3:30 p.m. and the boat launch closes at 6 p.m. Park re-opens 8 p.m. Bring your blanket, lawn chair and flashlight along with snacks. No canopies, barbecues, alcohol and personal fireworks.

La Conner Marina

La Conner July 4th fireworks for 2026 will feature Mama Dirty Skirt, Bluefish and Steve Johnson! There will be food vendors and a beer and wine garden. Fireworks show begins at Dusk sponsored by the town of La Conner. Donations to support underserved children are welcome.

Rock out on July 4th at the Rock the Dock at the Port of Anacortes! Featuring Queen Mother and the Dana Osborn Band. There will be food and a beer garden. Fireworks at dusk!
