Nothing compares to the comfort the holidays bring. The smell of warm sugar cookies and fresh cut pine fills my house and that’s when I know Christmas is here. One of my favorite memories of the holidays is going to pick out our Christmas tree. Skagit County has been known for its agriculture for several years, making it the perfect place to find that special tree to tie in the holiday spirit. Even if you’re a family who prefers artificial trees, our local farms offer an abundance of gifts, fresh pastries, wreaths, and even a special visit from Santa Clause.
