It’s time to wave the American flag, eat a hot dog and watch some fireworks! The Fourth of July is just around the corner and you have plenty of places to celebrate through Skagit County! All the fun starts on July 1 and takes you right up through Monday, July 4. Here are the 2022 July Fourth Firework Displays in Skagit County.

The Loggerodeo is happening once again during July Fourth weekend! This year, there will be no carnival, but there will be plenty of other fun to be had. From beard and barbecue contests to the pinnacle chainsaw carving competition, there will be plenty to keep you busy. Not to mention all the food and the Grand Parade on the 4th of July at 11 a.m. For viewing, head to Metcalf or Ferry Street. At 6 p.m., the PRCA Rodeo kicks off at the Rodeo Grounds. As long as the weather is nice, the Big Lake Firework show will once again be happening on July 3, 2022! The show is free, being fully funded by the Big Lakes Firefighters Association. The 2022 Fabulous 4th of July will once again not have music or food, but there will be plenty of the main event, fireworks! You can bring your own snacks to enjoy, along with a blanket or chairs. Don’t want to cook? Head to a local restaurant for some yummy take out before hitting the park. No personal fireworks, alcohol, canopies or barbecues allowed. Old Fashioned 4th of July in La Conner

The Old Fashioned 4th of July in La Conner is back for 2022 and is sure to be a fun day for the whole family! They will be having their parade, watermelon eating contest and three-legged racing once again. Come hungry and leave full with plenty of food vendors with all your summer favorites as well as food from local restaurants. Those 21 years old and over can cool off with drinks from the local breweries and wineries.

The Port of Anacortes is having their annual Rock the Dock on July 4, at 5 p.m. Celebrate Independence Day with a free community concert featuring Pacific Twang, Darin Jones and the Last Men Standing.
