Japjot (Jay” Grewal, MD, joined the Burlington clinic in September. He is  board-certified in family medicine with a focus on chronic disease management and routine health maintenance.

Dr. Grewal moved to Bellingham from Georgia, where he first completed a Transitional Year residency training in Medicine, Surgery and several subspecialties at Advent Health Care in Rome, Georgia. He then completed his Family Medicine residency in the Hamilton Health Care System in Dalton, Georgia.

Dr. Grewal’s diverse training has equipped him to be a well-rounded family medicine provider caring for both simple and complex health concerns. “I employ a patient-centered approach by prioritizing the patient’s needs and values and focusing on the patient as a whole person, not simply a set of symptoms,” he said.

Dr. Grewal is originally from Surrey, BC. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, hiking, and dabbling in culinary experimentation.
